Our Cookie Policy

This page explains every cookie that spinbara-pokies.com may place on your device, why it exists, how long it stays, and how you can switch categories off whenever you like. We keep the wording plain on purpose: you should not need a law degree to work out what we store on your phone or laptop.

What cookies actually do

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your device when you visit. Each one holds a label and a value, nothing more. When you come back, your browser hands that file to us so we can remember something useful: that you are logged in, that you picked AUD as your currency, or that you already closed our cookie banner.

Think of cookies as short-term memory for the site. Without them, every page load would treat you as a brand-new visitor, and things like staying logged into your Spinbara account while you move between pokies simply would not work.

The cookies we set

Strictly necessary cookies keep the site running. They maintain your login session, carry your authentication token between pages, and protect forms with anti-forgery checks. These load the moment you arrive, they cannot be switched off from the banner, and blocking them in your browser will break login, deposits and game sessions.

Functional cookies remember choices you have made: interface language, currency display, sound settings and whether you dismissed a notification. Losing them is not fatal, but you would need to reset your preferences on every visit.

Analytics cookies tell us, in aggregate, how visitors move through the site: which pages load slowly, where people drop off during registration, and which game categories get the most attention. The data is aggregated and cannot identify you personally.

Marketing cookies support retargeting: if you saw one of our promotions but did not finish signing up, an advertising partner may show you a follow-up ad elsewhere online. These are the only category that exists purely for promotion, and you can refuse them at any time without losing site functionality.

Who else reads cookies

Some cookies on our pages belong to other companies, not to us. We allow three categories of third-party cookies, and each one is governed by that provider's own privacy policy as well as ours.

Analytics providers help us measure site speed and user flows. Advertising networks serve and measure our promotional campaigns, including the retargeting described above. Payment providers set technical cookies during deposit and withdrawal processing to keep transactions secure and detect fraud; these are strictly necessary and cannot be refused while you are completing a payment.

Third parties never receive your password, your game history or your KYC documents through cookies. If a third party ever changes the scope of what it collects, we reassess whether it stays on our site.

Manage your cookie choices

On our site

The first time you visit spinbara-pokies.com, a banner asks you to accept all categories or open a preferences panel where you can tick only the ones you want. Strictly necessary cookies are always on and shown greyed out. You can reopen that panel any time through the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page, so your choice is never a one-way door.

In your browser

You can also delete cookies or block them outright at browser level. The setting lives in slightly different places depending on what you use:

  • Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies and Delete browsing data.
  • Safari: Preferences, then Privacy, where you can block all cookies or cross-site tracking.
  • Firefox: Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Cookies and Site Data.
  • Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions, then Manage and delete cookies.

If you block everything

Blocking strictly necessary cookies has real consequences: you will not stay logged in, deposits will fail at the confirmation step, and games may refuse to load. Blocking only analytics and marketing cookies costs you nothing except a less personalised experience. Whichever route you take, we respect the setting and stop collecting in the refused categories from that moment on.

How long cookies last

Session cookies vanish the moment you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay for a fixed period and then delete themselves. Nothing we set lasts forever, and you can wipe any of them early through your browser settings.

Cookie typeDurationWhy that length
Session and auth (strictly necessary)Session onlyCleared when you close your browser for security
Security tokens (strictly necessary)30 daysKeeps trusted devices recognised without repeated logins
Functional preferences90 daysSo language and currency choices survive typical return visits
Analytics90 daysLong enough to compare visit patterns, short enough to limit profiling
Marketing and retargeting90 to 365 daysCaps how long an ad partner can keep you in a campaign
Banner choice record365 daysSo we do not ask you again on every visit

Changes we may make

If we add a new cookie category, change a retention period or bring in a new third-party provider, we update this page and bump the version note at the top. For material changes, such as a new marketing cookie, we show the banner again so you can make a fresh choice rather than assuming your old consent carries over.

Questions about anything on this page go to [email protected], where our team answers around the clock, every day of the year. You can also reach us through live chat on the site.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to accept all cookies to play at Spinbara?

No. Only strictly necessary cookies are compulsory, because they handle login, payments and game sessions. You can refuse analytics and marketing cookies in the banner's preferences panel and still use the full site.

Will refusing marketing cookies stop me seeing bonuses?

You will still see every promotion on the site, including the 100% welcome bonus up to 160 AUD with 200 free spins. Refusing marketing cookies only affects follow-up ads shown on other websites.

How do I change my mind after clicking accept?

Use the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of any page. It reopens the same preferences panel, so you can withdraw consent for analytics or marketing at any time.

Do cookies hold my personal or payment details?

No. Cookies store labels and identifiers only. Your password, game history and payment details sit in our secure systems, not in cookie files on your device.
